Decades-old bear mauling

A very short few years ago, I was diagnosed with PV, a terminal leukemia (turns out I don't have it, but I do have unspecified leukocytosis). I was prepared to refuse treatment as it only prolonges a very miserable death (2 to 3 years from diagnosis). I'd rather have a bear eat me alive than suffer a slow miserable death from PV, or cancer. To each their own.

My dad is bed ridden from a massive stroke almost 2 years ago, his mind is all there but he has no use of his entire left side. If I asked him if I could feed him to a bear he would say sign me up!

They say you don't truly die until your name has been spoken for the last time.

To that end, one could achieve some sort of immortality if they were to find him clutching a weapon yards away from a dead elk and dead grizzly bear. They'd be talking about that dude for hundreds of years.

I'm gonna change my name to Jesus....
