Death Hike in Southeast?

we could do it over 2 days. Those numbers came off alltrails.com
I assumed we were talking about an overnighter from the start. I could do a one day hike but would not enjoy it as much. I do like to see where I am going and where I have been. I like a good workout too, but I can do that around here. Whatever people want to do. I really want to see as much of the interior of the wilderness as I can. That and maybe catch a peak at bigfoot or the moon eyed people.

Lol he's in there.

It’s hard for me to plan ahead due to the nature of my work but when y’all decide to go let me know. Usually my work slows down during the summer

If you wanna see Bigfoot, you're not gonna find it in the middle of nowhere. This is why nobody ever sees em...ya'll are looking in the wrong places. Bigfoot hides in plain sight. Hollywood. The land of freaks is filled with em. They have learned to shave themselves and mimic our behavior but their savage animal instincts cannot be hidden forever and they periodically reveal themselves. Proof this can be found by watching The View.

I’m always in for a good death hike. I’m moving to Dahlonega, GA in July/August...or whenever Uncle Sam will let me PCS.

Ok guys been a few months are we going to try to do this, this year. The post above about the idea of tying it with a bear bow hunt sounds interesting.

Man I want to do it but seriously though the heat index was 113 at my house yesterday so maybe after it cools down some.

I am working in the garden and yard from 6 til after dark. No workouts at all. I have started stretching inside in the morning.

Well, I decided to head up to Cohutta with my recurve. I plan on packing in and exploring about. If I bump into something worth packing out I certainly will do my best to stick it. The general idea however is some detailed scouting in preparation for the rifle opener on the 8th. I have not been up yet but the universal opinion is that the Whiteoak crop is a complete bust this year. Lots of Red and Chestnut Oaks producing though. So far this season not many bears taken and few seen. I guess they are just not concentrated because of a lack of white acorns and an abundance of reds. If anyone else is interested and free between now and next Sunday let me know and we can meet up.

I would love to join, but work right now is crazy...don't understand who is buying all these vehicles.pay attention to the campgrounds the bears will ease through them looking for easy lunch...if no luck pm me and I will hit you with another place I know of.
