Any tips on cleaning out a fairly “fresh” deadhead? I found one the other day and i‘m going through the permit process to collect It in few days. It’s rank AF and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get it home and maybe do a european Mount...

What is it? Do you own a truck? Call a taxidermist in advance and see if they will take it. They’re usually pretty inexpensive.

NW307, do you live in a warm climate? Can you bury it in the ground for a while? If your married, own a dog and can’t isolate it away from the family, boil as much of it as you can at the trailhead. I found a couple a decade ago and brought them to the taxidermist, they don’t always have the time to get to them right away so they are somewhat use to rotten flesh. If your in a relationship, you still might have one if you take it to the taxidermist. Good luck.
