Days in the field

How many days in the field do you typically spend to find success on a buck you’re after? Between scouting and hunting I’m probably between 20-25 days. And if I didn’t work so much I’d probably have much more than that.

I don't feel good going into the early hunt with anything less than 20 solid days of scouting. I think to really be consistent and truly know a deer you need about what you're saying 20-25. But everyone's different, I'm single and young and it's my job so I can justify it. Others might be doing good to get 5 days in before season and they might get lucky! I would say you couldn't possibly scout enough

That’s awesome! Yeah if I could, I would be the same but between work and family, I can’t swing that. I wish I could though. I make up for what I can by being in great shape and pushing my body to its limits
