Hey guys looking for my first real daypack, in the past I have always used very cheap book bag style backpacks from Walmart for dayhunts.

I'm considering the Tensing TX15, I like that it's top loading but I wish it one more external pocket.

This bag will be used mostly for whitetail hunting, antalope hunting, scouting, and hog hunt ting in Texas.

Hoping to spend under $100 and looking for other bag suggestions

Thanks!

That price point is low. Try to find a used Horn Hunter pack. Tenzing is junk level.

I would look for a used older Camelbak Motherload or BFM.

The older BFM is a great pack.....it has stitched molle webbing on it vs the newer version that has laser cut molle slots in the fabric. The main pouch zips all the way open like a suitcase and also has extra pulls on either side so you can unzip either side from the bottom. Removable kidney belt and very good padding in pack and shoulder straps. High/low buckle compression straps on either side for strapping on extra gear. Camelbak has a no ?'s warranty so even if you buy used and destroy the pack they will replace it.

Mine gets used mostly as the everyday go in the vehicle pack.

Its hard to beat the military Camelbak stuff for a day pack if your not worried about ounces.

Should be able to find one in the price range.....if you look good.

I have the Tenzing 2220 and looked at the new TX packs before buying. They seem decent and sure would hold up to average day pack use. My pack holds up well for whitetail and waterfowl use and I don’t baby it. No zipper or buckle issues and I cram a lot of sh#t into it.

Much better options for $100, look at more tactical inspired gear as others have suggested.
