Day packs for Bow hunts

Is the K3 1800 EXO worth 2x as much as the Mystery Ranch pop up 28? I have the Metcalf for backcountry rifle hunts. But now I'm getting into archery.

I've completely replaced my daypack with my EXO 4800. I would recommend just going with the 4800 or even the 6400, because these packs can be cinched down to a good daypack size when you don't need the room, then opened up to full capacity with just some strap adjustments. And you get used to the system so everything you need to do with the pack becomes second nature.

People love their MR pop ups. I bought my EXO 4800 because many people seem to like them even more; they are 100% made in the USA; and I like the people who make them. That is worth twice as much to me.

That's some good information you shared, thank you! I do like the fact that they are 100% made in the USA. From the design it also looks like it's more comfortable and breathable. Which is a beneficial for scent control!

They have a good video on how to cinch the pack down to nothing. Then you just use the horseshoe zipper to access everything inside the pack. Easy and fast.

I have a Kuiu ultra 3000, with the bow strapped on I can sit and not dig the cam into the ground. Not sure how that translates to a saddle.

Very impressed with the pack after four seasons on foot for 4-6 weeks a year.4CDD70A3-BAEA-4D3D-A208-C52BFC7327C4.jpeg

Now I like how the kuiu are versatile with just buying the frame and then by the bags you need based on the hunt. My cousin has the larger 1 and I guess the one drawback for me is how many straps and pockets are on the outside. He was always getting his zippers and straps stuck in the thick brush we hunt in NW Montana.
