Dave Page - Cobbler - another satisfied customer.

Last year, I posted a thread on this site, asking who the Rokslide Forum community recommends for cobbler service.

although, other names were suggested, the overwhelming majority of you recommended Dave Page.

I finally got around to sending in one of the several pairs of boots I have ready for new soles.

got with Dave, Via e-mail, sent pics of the boots, got a quote, I have a trip coming up, and asked Dave if he could meet the deadline, he told me to put the deadline date on the work form, and he would see to it that I had them back in time.

the boots look good as new. The sole to boot fit looks like a factory job.

fit and comfort are great. I will re treat the boots with Nikwax tomorrow and install the new laces.

I have another pair I’ll be sending to Dave as soon as I get back.

I believe the sole options are somewhat brand/model specific.

you can reach out to Dave and tell him what brand and model of boots you have (if your not sure of the model, send pics) and he can let you know what’s available.

his turn around time was at least two weeks when I last talked with him, due to being short staffed during this Covid outbreak.

the pics of the new soles are a little dark, so it’s hard to tell, But these look like a factory installed pair of soles. He did a great job.

Dave resoled a pair of Crispi nevadas for me this spring, no complaints, should last longer then Original soles

They took care of my Hanwags a couple of years ago. Still going strong.
