Daughters 1st Caribou

Just got back from a youth hunt here in Alaska and my daughter was fortunate to take her first caribou. We didn’t see very many, but it only took one. She made a great shot at 180 yards and we have some amazing caribou meat to take back home. Unbelievable how much fat was on this guy. Never seen anything like it.

That's a great hunt for the young lady! Not abundant caribou so you had to hunt but avoided the crowds of hunters. As it should be! He was sure in great shape.
