I went out to pick some berries this afternoon and when I got back I noticed that the stitching on back stay of my Danner Alsea's has blown out. The boots are about 2 years old but still in pretty good shape otherwise. Would it be worth my time to take them into a cobbler and have them try and fix it or should I just call it a loss and move onto another pair? I have a backup pair of Irish Setters (elk trackers) but they are noticiblly heavier and I prefer lighter boots for archery elk. Otherwise I'm open to suggestions for a lightweight early season boot with at least some degree of ankle support yet somewhat flexible.
Best,
Eddie
