It was a father son hunt. Father blew his knee out a few hours before we shot this ram. So he was sitting in the tent a half mile away listening to the shooting!!

300 browning short mag. Jamming issues like normal. Lol have yet to have a client with a short mag that didn't have some sort of feeding issues.

What a beautiful broomer! Nice work Jake! Interesting that your experience with the WSM is as described. I have a Browning A-Bolt in .300 WSM that I've never had an issue with and it's been used and abused. It's taken elk, moose, caribou, black bear and grizz. You seem to be the common denominator. Hahaha! Good work again!

Lol it's crazy maybe it's me! Guys love their short mags but almost every single one has jammed one way or another on hunts with me! Lol
Seems some of them if you feed them slow the bullet sticks straight up into the receiver, others didn't eject shells, and some didn't feed in different ways! But it's been at least six or seven I've seen jam. Enough that I'll never own one.

My Rem 700 TI 300 SAUM cycled flawlessly when I missed a huge ram 7 times last year. I really wish the scope was performing as good as the rifle was that day. Still crying!!
