Dall sheep doable for under 25k ?

ok here in the Yukon they are publishing the harvest and census and you should try to have them public which will be easier to understand the dynamic between the population and harvest.
NWT has 16-20 thousand dall sheep. Outfitters harvest 180-220 a year and residents harvest about 2-12 per year. It’s been that way for a long time. Age class and lamb recruitment indicate no loss in sheep numbers.

It’s funny how the outfitters here still try to block resident access by telling residents they can’t hunt their area and “reserving” a lake for months at a time, when we kill 2-12 sheep a year.

I had a charter company say they wouldn’t fly me out to 3 different lakes I asked about because the outfitter was using that lake with them for 2 months. They told another charter to not fly resident hunters to a particular lake recently as well.
