Okay, I think I have narrowed it down to the two subject suppressors. I will be going direct mount. They will be mainly used on a 6.5PRC and 7MM. I might also throw them on a 300blk out and maybe a 6.5 creed. No plans for rapid fire. Will be mainly used for hunting only.

Looks like both are pretty evenly matched (I have read Team4LongGun's thread comparison and they go #2 and #3).

Any opinion one way or the other? I can get the Ti XC for about $850 via Guns2U (are they legit?) and the Reaper looks to be about $1K. My FFL is down the street from me and didn't have an opinion one way or the other.

Any other websites you would recommend buying from instead?

Thanks!

Can’t go wrong either way. I have the dead air which I got shortly before the reaper came out. I still wouldn’t mind having a reaper but it seems so similar to the ti xc that it would be redundant.

Dead air also has that new over the barrel model, also don’t overlook airlock industries silencers, they seem to be the best thing out right now.

Yeah, those two look to be very evenly matched both on paper and in actual tests. It would basically come down to which one is easier to get (both seem easy enough to get) and price (currently $850 vs $1K).

Airlock 7mm is also high on my list. You just cant get one right now. They are also brand new so not really any user data on them yet. I dont think you can change out the direct thread on them either? I have barrels that are 5/8x24 and 1/2x28.

I’d probably go for the cheaper one since they are close. Capital armory sells both now so you could get either mailed to you.

I really want a Reaper after someone letting me shoot their OG but for those two...as said above, price and availability would win.

I picked up a Nano on the Jan 1 drop...can't wait to see first hand how the Airlock cans are...at their weight, it won't be my last one if it performs like their videos. No reason to think it won't.

Good luck and let us know what you choose.

I ended up ordering a Reaper yesterday afternoon! It seems like most reviews online put it a tiny bit ahead of the Nomad so I went for it. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long for it. I appreciate all of the responses!

Yeah, those Airlocks seem amazing. If they keep testing well and end up holding up long term I will probably grab one.
