My dad recently got into a .22 LR silhouette league and invited me to start shooting with him. Turned out to be a lot of fun and a cool way to spend time together… but now it’s got me wanting to buy another rifle 😅

In the winter they shoot freehand at 20 yards, and once the weather warms up they move outdoors and stretch it out to around 150 yards. I’ve been looking hard at a CZ 457 At-One with the 24” barrel, thinking the extra length and weight might balance better for offhand shooting compared to the 16.5” .22s I already own.

I didn’t realize how easy the barrels were to swap on the 457 until I started digging into it. For those of you running multiple barrels — how consistent is the rifle at returning to zero? Specifically if I added a .17 HMR barrel for squirrel hunting, could I realistically keep track of scope adjustments and dial back and forth, or am I basically re-zeroing every time I swap barrels?

Appreciate any intel!
