My dad recently got into a .22 LR silhouette league and invited me to start shooting with him. Turned out to be a lot of fun and a cool way to spend time together… but now it’s got me wanting to buy another rifle
In the winter they shoot freehand at 20 yards, and once the weather warms up they move outdoors and stretch it out to around 150 yards. I’ve been looking hard at a CZ 457 At-One with the 24” barrel, thinking the extra length and weight might balance better for offhand shooting compared to the 16.5” .22s I already own.
I didn’t realize how easy the barrels were to swap on the 457 until I started digging into it. For those of you running multiple barrels — how consistent is the rifle at returning to zero? Specifically if I added a .17 HMR barrel for squirrel hunting, could I realistically keep track of scope adjustments and dial back and forth, or am I basically re-zeroing every time I swap barrels?
Appreciate any intel!
