I was trying to install a Williams front globe on my CVA Wolf V2 this evening and the screw would not screw in flush. Tried it with the globe and without the globe and now believe it is an issue with the threading as the screw is going jn angled every time. Has anyone had this issue? If so, does anyone know what size the hole is so I can take it to a local gunsmith to get drilled and tapped? I foolishly did not send in my warranty card so not sure sending it to CVA is an option.

id call CVA .they have always been great for me. they could tell you the size thread.the CVA guns ive come across were 6-48 thread...did you clean the hole out? you might get lucky and just theres some crap down in it. id blast the hole with some brake cleaner or air. zamazon has pointed q- tips that you could run down with oil and see if it picks up any crap. If the screw is too long you could purchase or shorten. check the threads on the screw too just in case there boogered.
