Cutting Edge 44 cal 250 grain Maximus in a 1:28 twist

Does anyone have experience with this bullet in a production inline muzzleloader with the normal 1:28 twist? CEB recommends a faster twist, but people are leaving reviews on their site saying they are using it in things like the CVA Accura and TC Omega with good results. Wondering if anyone else has any first hand experience with this bullet in a production muzzleloader and have gotten good stability. I am wondering if CEB established their twist requirements with the bullet before they put knurling on it which supposedly gives better rifling engagement.
