I have a parkerized Tikka Superlite. The barrel is 24.3"

I can cut it back to 21" with a little room before the flutes start. That would be a good length, and I don't mind cutting and crowning it myself.

My concern is if the parkerizing will cause me any issues. Anyone know?

Tape it and score it?

I have parkerized shotgun but havent been able to scratch or chip it. Rusted it but just wd40 and a rag…

If you don’t know about cutting a parkerized barrel then you shouldn’t be cutting and crowing a barrel. Take it to a gunsmith that knows WTF they’re doing.

Well go ahead and enlighten me then.

I've cut blued and stainless barrels with no issues or accuracy loss.
