Custom mini Canadian belt knife

I like the slimmer blade and the overall shape of it with the higher tip. That shape maximizes the slicey-ness. The think blade stock will also make this quite the cutter. I also like that you’ve kept some thickness in the handle in the area right behind the blade. Some of these CBKs get really small in that area and I like a little beef there.

Yeah I have found:
-tall handle height = slim scales
-narrow handle height = thicker scales

I imagine it’s too early to tell but do you think this will be your go to pattern going forward?

I picked up a new pocket sheath for my wee Canadian. Still have this knife in a regular use rotation and still loving it for everyday pocket knife and bird knife duty. I will confess that I haven’t used it on anything bigger though.

@CypressCreek tried to sell me on the leather pocket sheath back when I bought the knife from him, but I opted for kydex. The leather pocket sheaths ride lower in your pocket than an ulticlip on kydex. And the leather is just classy looking. This sheath came direct from Jou Fuu Leather who makes sheaths for Cypress Creek. He does nice work.

Learn something everyday. Who knew a knife sheath in Alligator with a B-Hole was a thing? I’m putting one on my list to own at some point.

I have 3 beaver tail sheaths from him! Those are my bread and butter.

The alligator bhole sheath is a bit tempting lol
