Just got my custom RX-9 in a few days ago and now finished setting it up and figured I would write a little review here since you don't see a ton of in depth reviews on Hoyt. I have shot a bunch of hoyt's over the years. And I will say 100 percent they are stiffer this year. You can feel a difference between the 2024 and 2025 for sure. With that being said it is the smoothest "stiffer" draw cycle I have ever felt. There is 0 humps in this years bows and they go in and out of the valley really nicely. One of the biggest things people complain about hoyt is their spacer system when it comes to tuning. When I was tuning this bow I decided to move the spacers instead of move arrow rest. I was a little nervous about doing that since I have never done that before. After doing it I don't understand the complaints. It probably didn't take me 5 minutes and was so simple. I absolutely love the 1/4" DL adjustment as 29" has always felt a tiny long but 28.5" feels way to short. So I have got it set to 28.75 and I am loving it. I love all of the adjustability in the hoyt cams that you can do with a screw, cause I like to tinker. Here's the details. If anybody has any question feel free to ask em!
