Custom deer rifle

My father built this for me. We picked everything out over the past year and just put it together .I've never been so excited for deer season in a long time. It's a stiller tac 30 with a bartlein 22 inch carbon wrapped barrel , bix n andy trigger , talleys , ag composites carbon fiber stock . He chambered it in 7mm-08
. We topped it off with a zeiss 3 to 12 . We hunt in west tn . Small fields and open woods . Waiting on some cool weather to shoot it !

I’ve been thinking about using those Bartlein wrapped barrels. Had any time to get rounds down range? Curious how well it handles heat. Any thought as to what bullets you’ll be using?

Weight is 8 lbs according to the kitchen scale.

7mm08 works well on Elk. Never lost an Elk. 40 yards max.
