I just found some Bertram brass. 130 new and 70 once fired. pretty stoked. Wasn't looking forward to using crappy brass or waiting 6 months for ADG.

Now I just continue to wait, hopefully not much longer!

I'm also having Mike build me one. It should be done any day based on my communication with Mike. I'm pretty pumped.

when did you send your action & do your build sheet? I did mine in early January & hope to see mine soon. Originally estimated late May/early June but I think Covid, equipment failure & business being very busy pushed things back. Hate to bug him too much with “are we there yet” emails so I’m hoping soon!😂

Sent mine in to him around same time. I'm in the same boat on not wanting to bug him. Hoping to hear from him by end of the month or I'll check in again.

Here is my HCA build. 9.5tw summit contour, Tikka action, HCA mag, MPA altitude stock, shortened trigger screw, I have a vortex razor hd lht 3-15x42 mil on top now in Hawkins hybrids. Weighs right at 8# with optics. Still doing load development. But accuracy is there. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the heel drop on the stock. It will more than likely be getting sold and replaced with an axial precision stock, or a ag alpine hunter.IMG_20200421_153524_592.jpgIMG_20200421_153522_466.jpgIMG_20200417_194149_006.jpg

Really liking the Axial stock... I would prefer it over the Mesa.

How much does the Axial weigh? I like the looks of that, my MPA altitude drops heel too much, jabs me right in the collar bone shooting prone. Almost all my rifles are flat high comb, or negative the whole way back to pad.

I've been extremely impressed with my 300 wsm. It would be my choice if I had to have one rifle for all hunting.

Rifle Specs:
Tikka Action
Mountain Tactical long action magazine
24" @HellsCanyon Barrel
Mcmillan Gamescout
Seekins Brake (the one thing I don't really like)
Nightforce SHV 5-20
Custom loaded ammo from @Unknown Munitions

I'm getting 2945 fps with 215 Bergers. Here is the ammo load thread.

Justin, what is it about that brake that you do not like?

Mine came in right at 24 oz - I asked them to make it as light as possible because it’s on my sheep rifle. After bedding it’s probably up to 25 oz.

Also, I like it way better than my Mesa in the prone.

Nice......did you have pillars installed? Do they install the recoil lug for you?

Also January and he said June-ish. I emailed late last week and he said my rifle was "built" and currently being bedded and then would be coated and assembled. He figured around the end of this week or so. So I assume it'll be any time now. It sounds like he has a lot of business going on and that's good to hear.

Just finished mine - built off my Tikka Action and Proof Sendero light barrel. Throated long - my COAL is 3.1” with Barnes 200 Gr LRX. Using Norma brass and H4350. Pushing it at 2830 FPS.

Big fan of the WSM and this rifle has been a laser so far.

Didn't see it mentioned but what is the rifle weight sans scope, and which NF scope is that?

Really like that build.

Last I emailed a couple weeks ago he said he was waiting on a bunch of bolt fluting & that he was going to start assembling a whole bunch of Tikka’s soon. Hoping to see it next week.🙏
