Still trying to figure a way to cull the herd after some over-enthusiasm at the gun smith during the pandemic so putting this one up as well.

Gunsmith is the same guy that built the other listings, Mark Pharr at Tumbleweeds Customs in ATX.

-Build started with a new LH Savage 10 action. Action was blueprinted. Bolt was fluted. Ceracote color is carbon black matte. Carbon bold handle and knob.
-Recoil lug is a precision ground model
-Bottom metal is actually metal and fits Savage's DBM...two mags currently with the gun.
-Trigger is a Rifle Basix set at 2.5 pounds I think.
-20 MOA rail
-Stock is an HS Precision with an aluminum bedding block. Stock has studs front and rear as well as flush cups on the right side front and rear.
-Action has been skim bedded and free floated. Stock was made for a varmit/sendero profile barrel and fits the proof Sendero Light well.
-Barrel is a Proof carbon 8 twist 22" threaded 5/8x24 with a blended cap. I didn't see a need for a brake and it leaves the option open to put a can on it.

$1600 net to me.

V6 that's on it is for sale separately, but will ship it with a Zeiss V4 in Nightforce rings for $500 additional if the buyer would like it scoped.

I get 7.6 without the scope on a digital bathroom scale

Edit: Messed around with a couple of scales. Luggage scale consistently reads just under 7lbs. I tested the bathroom scale with known weight kettlebells and its consistently reading them heavy.

Man, that seems high. you did so much to cut weight. It seems like it'd be a pound over the ultralite since you picked the heavier (better) stock. I was expecting around 6.9 or a little better. It's still a really nice rifle. There is such a thing as too lite.

Thanks guys. I feel like that is heavy as well. With the scope and rings off it feels lighter than the scale says. The stock for sure is adding weight...and honestly if I had waited a year for a manners it would still have an aluminum block in it and I'd be money behind. If I can find my luggage scale I'll weigh it again and see where we get to.

Edit: I weighed with a luggage scale last evening and it consistently registers just under 7 lbs. I tared and tested the bathroom scale I was using with a bunch of different known weight kettlebells and it consistently measures them heavy.
