You're just a Cowboy, graduating from being an Indian. Embrace it!
hahaha It's a conscious decision I made. The permit I have is good for archery and rifle but its been a while since I killed a bull with a rifle and I think I'd like to this year so I'm gonna sit the sidelines in archery and be the water boy for my buddies.

Meh. Semi-organized. I’ve got a bunch of camping stuff and a couple of rifles scattered around the house and truck and SxS from last weekend. I need more space, badly.

Next month we break ground on a 40x60 shop, should have it wrapped up in 90 days. I’m conceding a 1bed apartment built in to accommodate my elderly in-laws and getting a happy and tolerant wife + a 40x20 finished out space for me and my hobbies (and an unfinished shop area for sxs, trailers, etc.

I won’t complain.

Mine is atrocious. I walked in to get a couple rifles and my pack ready to throw into the jeep for tomorrow mornings shooting.

I’m glad I leave in 10 days for Alaska, gives me an excuse to get this crap close to being organized.

Show me some clean gun/gear rooms to inspire me.

I'm disappointed there's not more blaze orange in this room. Couch? Carpet!!??? So many possibilities!

mine is setup in our basement “pantry” where we store bulk stuff, canned goods, and deep freezers. Not much but it works for me. Gear is stored in the back in totes, processing equipment on shelves, misc gear on the shelf next to the bench. IMG_3403.jpeg

I built a pretty bad ass gear room and I've been keen to share a picture on here but it's only been tidy a couple times and I've never taken a picture then. It's a disaster now, unpacked from my summer fishing trip and going to start packing for archery elk.

I'm usually pretty ocd about keeping my gear room tidy because it is small, but this close to hunting season and the first trip of the year, it's awful.

Right now its got fishing equipment all over the floor and benches. In about month I will throw it all in bins and put it in the store room. Then drag out all my bins of hunting gear and dump it all over the place and walk on or around it for the next 5 months. Then do it all over again in March. This cycle has been going on for 40 some years.
My mom said when I was a kid I would dump my toy box completely over on the floor and sit in the middle of the pile and play. Some people never change…..

Gun/ammo/reloading/training room was in good shape until Sunday when I started looking for a specific rifle's factory box. In the process I decided I needed to organize the storage/attic...whole lotta boxes got brought down to "my" room. Haven't been home enough to clean it up yet.

All guns in safe along with binoculars and rangefinders. All ammunition in locked storage cabinet separate from guns. Other equipment scattered but I know where everything is. All hunting clothing in one walk in closet that belonged to my grown daughter. Everything I own has a place and it goes back to that place when not in use.
