Elkbros Soloist when I'm hunting alone. Flexible and sits with the opening backward, can call behind you with it on the shoulder strap. Love sitting on top of the nearest roll to the bull and sending stuff down and back. Pulls him right up close.

I like the Phelps Unleashed tube... not particular reason really but I have a couple and they are my goto's

Been using a Phelps tube since 2016 I think.

There was a Riven Cambium last year in camp that I got to play with. I was going to buy one for myself but it says "made in China" on the box. I didn't want to spend $329 for a tube from China. I decided to buy the Riven Eclipse carbon which is also made in China but priced at $119.

Also as an FYI Phelps Unleashed V2 is made in the USA except for the neoprene cover. All of his other tubes are made elsewhere.

I've got the phelps tube, I think it's called like unleashed v2? it seems to do the trick

How much are guys cutting off the wiffle bat and wrapping with what tape? Does it matter much?

I have a rocky mountain tube, sounds good but it's an older one and rough on the lips!

Nope, pretty sure he hung it up and sold the business. Kind of lost interest it seems, don’t think he hunted last year.

I lost my chuckler 9 years ago hanging in a tree where I killed my first bull. Would love to get another but…

Forever grateful to Paul, I had nobody to help me learn to elk hunt and he offered and spent a weekend with me talking and teaching me what I could absorb! No doubt it set me years ahead from day 1 and much of my success has come from that weekend he took out of his time. Great guy

Paul is a great guy, one of the few people in the hunting space who was always genuine and helpful.

Well, I planned on ordering a couple tubes to try, but I couldn’t find 2 that I wanted to try, so I bought one of the riven carbon tubes. It sounds really good, but have not compared it to my chuckler yet, so we’ll see. The most important aspect to me is volume, but it has potential. Certainly overpriced for a tube, but if it ends up being a keeper, the cost doesn’t matter, tubes don’t wear out

I would be tempted to buy one of the cambium tubes, but I would wreck it, so I don’t think it would be a wise investment. Even if it was the best sounding tube on the planet, that doesn’t matter in my world, but volume does

Phelps metal tube unfortunately. I can make do with anything but the volume and tone you get with it is great. I hate packing that thing though. I have all this UL stuff and then pack in a 1lbs tube I tell myself it’s multi purpose. You could probably beat a small bear or samsquanch to death with it!
