CTS or Custom Turret Systems

I'd be interested in your thoughts on them. Thanks for posting the link as well. I think I may give them a try. If you find need to take one off does it leave a residue? Is it impossible to remove etc?
Thanks again.

I just found them interesting and thought others may like to try them. I have the Burris c4 scope and they will make me a turret with yds on it. I think they want $50-65 for the turret. I don't think the first is free. If thats the case and my turret has strait sides I will probably try them. It would help keep things simple. Range it, dial it, and drop the hammer!! Maybe Bob will give us some details on how he made his??

Screw that. Run a MOA turret and tape your dope to the stock. If you start tweaking loads/bullets/powder, it's much easier to run another set of drops.

I agree. And you can always adjust for the atmospheric conditions as needed, switch the scope to another rifle, etc. Much more versatile system

I like the idea of dual turrets. Your bottom turret is moa andv the top on is a cds style. If you have a certain condition you hunt in a lot the cds turret can be handy but I can see it becoming a pain if thats all you have.

Keep it simple. Run MOA or Mills. Never understood CTS, especially in the mountains.

If you're taking "CDS", as in Leupold, they come with a MOA dial, unless told otherwise. I prefer M1's over CDS anyday. My pack tends to dial a few minutes when I'm schlepping a CDS. Won't happen with a M1. More positive clicks and easier to read.
