CTR/UPR Rebarrel: 6.5 Creedmoor or 6mm Creedmoor?

About to drop off my 20” 6.5 CM Tikka CTR barreled action at gunsmith for a rebarrel.

On the fence if I should go with 20” 6.5 CM again or try 20” 6mm CM

I hunt deer over fields and in woods ranges 10-600 yards. I hunt suppressed and handload.

6.5 CM again or 6mm CM?

I have a 6 ARC I also hunt with so I can buy a bunch of 108 ELDMs to shoot in both rifles if I go 6mm CM.

2500 rounds on factory barrel so it’s getting to be about time. It’s served very well. It still shoots but off season is good time to get a new tube.

Shoot the same bullet, no need for the 6.5, IMO.

Also, look for the new 109s, they have higher BC and are based on the ATip shape. They are shorter because of the difference in tip.
