CTR to Standard Tikka Mag Conversion

Is anyone making a kit that converts CTR bottom metal to regular T3x bottom metal to accept the standard Tikka mags?

I'd appreciate a link if you have one.

You're wanting to adapt the CTR bottom metal to accept the standard T3x magazines?

I don't know of any conversion kits.

The standard bottom metal will fit the CTR stock. All you need to add is a magazine retention spring under the trigger assembly bolt.

Yep I am coming up with a plan B if my CTR mags dont reliably cycle 6 GT. I have heard the 6 GT works great in standard Tikka M mags.

The standard lite bottom metal will fit in a ctr inlet, it just has a 1/8”-ish gap on both sides. That and a retention spring as mentioned above are all thats required. Or you can pretty easily have the CTR bottom metal modified to accept either CTR mags OR AICS mags. There are also aics bottom metals that fit ctr inlet but for aics mags. Either of those options might work too.

Not a kit. Bought a roughtech tikka stock here on site. Barrel channel only needed to be opened slightly to get it free floated. Needed to get a bottom metal, ordered from mountain tactical. The CTR doesn't have to mag retainer clip like the t3/t3x. Ordered that. Had a L mag lying around.

I have a CTR in a UPR stock so I want to keep it in the current stock.

I love this setup! I bought this same stock for a T3x lite .308 that I had chopped to 16"and theaded. Then mounted a S&B Polar. You've inspired me to switch the stock to my CTR. Where did you order the mag retainer clip from? And is it difficult to install? (Here is mine wearing its old Trijicon.)
