Crossing state lines with meat/head

Never seen one. Are they stopping every car and searching them? Or is it just a station on the side of the road you can drive past if you are feeling lucky?
Wyoming has checkpoints that anyone traveling to or from hunting or fishing must stop (feeling lucky category). I have driven through a stop on the interstate in Pennsylvania on the interstate that checked everyone about hunting, not recently, but probably 20 years ago.

The site with maps regarding transport is for carcass transport and should not be confused with transport of an animal that has been broken down, skull cleaned ,etc.

Arkansas has had wardens on overpasses watching for hunters.

a few years ago they busted one of the ' swamp people ' that was heading back home from the Midwest with a buck that was visible.
