Yeah you don’t see $200 Crispis come up too often with that kinda size selection.

These are pretty true to size as far as boots go and unless you have a very wide foot, regular width should fit comfortably..

I appreciate the notice. I ordered a second set of Colorado’s. Saved almost $150 CAD compared to normal.

Damn. The summits went quick. I would have tried them out for only 200 bucks.

If anybody missed out...My personal favorite Crispis boot happens to be their cheapest...the Lapponia..$239+ free shipping at Black Ovis—never seen them cheaper than that. Sells out during hunting season but they’re back in stock for most sizes. These are the only boots that have ever kept my feet dry in the coastal pnw...I attribute the minimal amount of seams and fabrics...same as Crispi Nevada’s (only half the weight of the Nevada’s, feels almost like a waterproof tennis shoe with ankle support). Just reapply Crispi boot cream a time or two throughout season..

Huh I'll look into them. I have went through a few pairs of nevadas now and they have been my go to for every hunt. Looking for something a little different for summer and early fall. I did by a pair of thors. Figured for 200 bucks might as well give them a shot

Try code "elkshape" as well. Works for most stuff on BO for extra 10% off

How do you find they do in steep terrain under a heavy pack. I like the idea of the Nevada but the lapponia are so much cheaper.

As good as anything I’ve used...I pulled 2 bulls out of some steep grades last season in unofficial guide mode...wouldn’t have wanted to be wearing anything else no matter the retail price..I like a lightweight boot for feeling the terrain better and keeping leg fatigue to a minimum while covering lots of country..

If you like a stiff boot the Lapponia is probably not what you are looking for. The Thor fits very similar to the Lapponia, but is stiffer more like the Nevada so it’s probably a better similar option. Usually if it’s on camofire once it will be on there again soon.

That being said, Lapponia is my favorite boot. I like light boots. Especially archery hunting and hiking lots of miles. I like to be able to feel the ground a little bit more while stalking animals. The Lapponia is my do it all boot. They get all year wear as they are some of the more comfortable boots of any kind I’ve ever worn. Recently got the Thors and haven’t put too many miles on them yet, but I like them so far. I can already see them as a better option on heavy pack outs as that’s the only time I wished for a stiffer boot. Fit is similar with both and they are both similar weight so in my opinion it’s just choosing how stiff you want your boot.
