Crispi Summit vs Lapponia Fit

I have a pair of Crispi summit boots in 9.5 that I bought for my first western hunt (I live in nc). While they feel good with no slip, the toe box feels tight. I get a hotspot on my pinky toe after 1.5 miles.

I will be headed to western Montana in early November. Does anyone know if the lapponia iii have a wider toe box than the summits? If I like the summits would getting the same size in ee width work or will that introduce more fit issues outside of the toe box? Lastly, the weight of the lapponia lite is very attractive due to some hip issues. Is it crazy to consider such a lite boot for Montana in November? My feet run warm.

I have experience with both the Summits and Lapponia III. Much prefer the Lapponia III toe box, which is more generous. Plus the Lapponiias are more water resistant than the Summits in my experience. Spent a lot of days in both...

I wear a 9.5 in Summit and a 9 in Lapponia. Ive worn 9.5 in every Crispi boot Ive owned, except the Lapponia and Attiva Mid I wore 9 and the Colorado in 10. Lapponia definitely has a wider toe box.

thank you for the info. Below is Crispis response to this question for info. I have some 9.5 lap ponies iii coming in regular and wide. Hopefully Crispi is right, but I have read a lot of people say to size down.

Thanks for reaching out. If the length feels correct and you are not experiencing any heel slip I would do the same size but in an EE. That should reduce any pressure points on the outside of your toes. The Lapponia series of boots will fit almost identical to the Summits. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
