Looking to get my first pair of what I call good boots. Only hunt planned is 2025 antelope in Wyoming in September.

I will also use these boots for pleasure hiking. My wife and I stay active doing that together. Most of our trails I would call easy-moderate.

I have tried both boots on and like them both.

I like the Lapponia being a little lighter and more synthetic to breath and dry better. I notice the “rocking” technology is more prominent in this model.

I do like the little higher support of the Nevada. I love the looks of the boot as well. But is it over kill for what I’m doing/have planned?

Just looking for advice from guys who know boots better than I. I’ve watched tons of reviews and people love both.

Falling apart how? Seems like a warranty issue and you should consider contacting crispi.
Stitching is failing throughout. I'm not calling for warranty, I'll just run em until they die and move on back to brands that I've used with better results.

Lapponia over Nevada for use case...or maybe Altitude if you want a tad more support.

I have Lapponia II's and no issues with them...hard wearing boot for me and I weight like 200 pds and hike around in the CO mtns.

I have boots with much stiffer soles for crazy sidehilling adventures though so its use case.
