Anyone stand hunting in the Nevada’s? Looking at the non-insulated for here in Alabama. My feet sweat a ton when walking in as my walks tend to be pretty long on public land. Then after I’ve been in the stand I get cold feet. I had some rocky stalkers with the 200g but ran into the same problem that’s why I’m leaning towards non insulated. Probably the coldest days might run in the high 20’s low 30’s.

Switch up the socks you’re wearing to a wool sock, go to a liner sock and sock over top, or hike in wearing one pair and then once into your spot, switch to a dry pair of socks.

I have been in a pair of Crispi Nevada’s for two seasons. My boots are non-insulated and I only wear merino wool socks no matter the temperatures. Feet stay in good condition with this set-up....

I’ve been wearing the first lite cold weather sock but I was thinking my boots just wasn’t breathing well enough. I was wearing a pair of rocky stalkers in the early season which have about 200g then late season I transitioned to schnees hunter 2 pac boots with the liner in them and my feet sweated a ton on the walk in. First lite also has a new mercury sock about to come out and I think it is supposed to be better for warmer weather in turn I hope it helps with when I’m hiking in along with the Nevadas.

I just ordered the Nevada's, but have been running uninsulated boots stand hunting in Iowa for a long time. I have the same problem with feet sweating! After I've sat for an hour or so, I put on a pair of the boot blankets, and my feet stay toasty.

I've also had luck using antiperspirant on my feet, because for me, dry=warm.

ArcticShield, you can find them pretty cheap online. I didn't do any research, and would assume that better ones exist, but its a pretty narrow range of temps I use them in anyway.
