I so much love the ankle support that colorado provides.

I have a pair of Colorados, I'm unimpressed with them. Very hot and stuffy for an uninsulated boot, the lining is slick and socks slip. And the absolute worst is that they leaked the first time I wore them in dew soaked grass (I was wearing gators).

Out of a dozen high end hunting/back packing boots, my Colorados are by far my favorites. .. in fit and function.

I have used (and still have some) three models of Lowas, Zamberlains, two models of Meindls, Whites, Scarpa, Schnees, and Hoffmans and others.
