After running my first pair of hunting boots into the ground, I'm ready to invest into a high quality boot. I've pretty much decided to try out the Crispi line and have ordered the Nevadas, the Wyomings, the Colorados, and the Dakotas.

I'm narrowed it down to the Dakotas and the Colorados as my top two choices, but the Nevadas are still in the mix as well. I like the idea of saving some weight with the Colorados or Dakotas, but it sounds like the Nevadas will hold up the best and I'd imagine be the most waterproof long term. I only hunt archery and primarily in Southern California. For the foreseeable future, it will be some hunting trips to Northern California along with a yearly elk trip.

I was hoping to hear from some guys that wear any of these boots. I guess it is ultimately a preference thing, but, I'm having a hard time making a decision which is fairly standard for me when buying an expensive piece of gear.

Any and all thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

I have them all but the Dakotas. I love the Colorado’s and Nevada’s. Not a big fan of the Wyoming/Idaho.

2x on the Colorado’s. Great boots. Like all tools they can be suited better to s specific task. The rocker sole gives them a wider range that most other “hunting” boots imo. Really depends on your application needs. It’s been said elsewhere, but Crispi makes an outstanding product based on my experience with the Colorado’s. Very little noticeable wear in the 8 months of 3-5x per week training regimen.

Hope this helps,
