I have wider feet so tried on the Briksdal EFX and Pro in EE. Both fit my feet well and my feet are bang on for the 9.5s. I’ve read some posts on here about how the EFXs shrink quite a bit so I’m looking for real world reviews of both of these boots. Do they shrink and would I be better off sizing up another half size in anticipation of this? Has anyone tried the EFX and Pro and went with on over the other? I’m planning to use them for sheep and goat hunting in Northern BC.

Thanks.

The EFX’s just showed up to my house yesterday and wow I am impressed. I was assuming with a 4 flex they would be a lot stiffer than my Kenai boots, they are but stiff didn’t mean uncomfortable, the 4’s still offer some flex however I am 260 pounds.

Back on topic, the pros are 200 gram insulated so if you want that, you call. Aside from they the are the same ish boot.

I’ve never been in goat country but from what I understand most lean towards a 5 flex.

Every leather boot Ive owned has shrank to some extent. Including the Birksdal. I currently have the Briksdal MTN GTX which is a synthectic boot. No shrinkage and it drys faster than leather. very happy with them.
