I was watching what I thought was two satellites or flying stars flying parallel with each other one night and all of a sudden they both turned at 90 degrees and were gone instantly. Not sure what it was but that was the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

Thats what I've been talking about!!!

THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!
I figured as much. I pointed out what I saw to several other people and they were confused because the didn't believe in UFO's (at least the alien type) and they couldn't explain what it was. One explanation was car headlights reflecting off of something somehow projected upwards. But car headlights aren't that bright that they could reflect and be so focused.

I was on a fishing trip when I was younger and while hiking up along the river, I found a polaroid picture of a bloody arm and dead person in someone's living room. There was another picture that was almost all black, except for a tiny, orange circle. I was pulled out of school the next day by troopers and they had a full team sweeping that area along the river along with dog's. All they could tell me was certain religions take photos of a person's cremation, which was the small orange circle photo. They couldn't explain to me why or how the other picture was relevant. I never did return to fish in that area.

Anyone ever hung up a trail camera pointed at their camp to see if anyone or thing (bums, weirdos, tweakers and other creatures) comes and lurks around your camp at night? I've thought about doing it a few times but I've never taken a trail camera in with me. I've ran into some pretty weird people, weird enough that at times I have circled back on my tracks to see if I was being followed. Thankfully nothing too stupid has ever happened to me yet.
Mountain lions screaming at night will definitely gain your full attention the first time or two you hear that. I was definitely thinking a woman was being murdered the first time I heard one, my dad got a could laugh out of it and said nope, that's a cat, not a person.

I was maybe 10 or so fishing with my brother 8 and dad, mom collecting rocks on the side of the Clark Fork river we get to a beautiful run a couple miles up stream of our RV parked at a raft pullout. A guy comes down yelling at us from a property that was gated and posted but along the river wasn't, he had a pistol which wasn’t all that un usual. He tells up we’re on private property and need to leave, but he said we need to come up and walk through his property because he doesn’t want to be liable if we fall on the rocks or whatever. We get up and it’s a legit compound with maybe 20 RV hook ups small amphitheater and strange religious looking things all over. My mom brother and I not thinking anything of it were playing with the goats and animals, they asked if anyone knew we were there and mom said no we just saw the fish sign on the highway and pulled over. My dad overheard and said he had his license checked at the ramp by a warden while we were up stream. They insisted we stayed for lunch boiled hot dogs and lemonade. Dad said no thanks we have lunch at the truck, but they were persistent. We had no idea what was going on and of course said dad we’re hungry and ate and drank. My father said we need to get going we’re expected to arrive at friends house for dinner soon and of course
My mom was saying what are you talking about no one is expecting us till tomorrow and my dad said no I called ahead last gas station and said we were on the way, be there soon. They said you can get your RV and stay here for the evening, do you boys want to fish? My dad said no we’re expected for dinner we need to leave, dragging us kicking and screaming because we didn’t realize at all what was going on and wanted to fish. We were about a half mile from the gate almost at the RV and my dad said boys I need you to throw up, before I knew it he was sticking his finger down my throat making me puke. We actually did get checked by a warden a few days later and my father asked him about them and the warden said he was investigating a flipped raft or something and walked up past the gate or was approaching it and him and his wife came down armed and were hostile and told us not to go near there. Dad has a pistol in the truck but never grabbed it because we never expected to go that far up stream. He told me years later he’s never felt so helpless in his life not being armed.

When I was 16 I built fence by myself all summer along the Red River on the Oklahoma side. Only person around for miles. Growing up people liked to tell stories of big foot and bears being up there so obviously had that in the back of my mind. It was about 1/4 mile of thick brush and I had to drag all the supplies thru to the river. One day dragging t-posts out I heard something come crashing the the thick brush towards me. I stopped cold as the crashing came closer and closer right for me.

It stopped about 30yds from me and I could finally see it was just a horse. Landowner didn't tell me there was a wild horse just roaming around out there. Those bigfoot jokes didn't seem very funny for the few seconds I could hear some giant animal coming at me thru the brush.

Found a deep freezer once that was buried in the middle of nowhere. Some critters had dug the dirt off the top. No roads to get it in there, lid was closed, didn’t look like it had been there too long. Did not open the lid.
If I found that out in the woods I don't think I could've continued life without opening that deep freezer

I was walking up a trail in Colorado in the backcountry in the dark on time with lightning crashing all around me while I was going back to camp. It was snowing and lightning at the same time. Then I looked over and there were two eyes crouched down in the bushes next to me about 20 feet away... Then they as quick as I saw them they dissapeared. I am pretty sure it was a small lion. But either way, It freaked me out because I was already on edge from the snow lightning that was occurring all around me. And of course me being me, I dont carry a pistol, so I loaded an arrow in my bow like a little bitch and kept walking down the trail in the dark...lol

I dont get scared in the woods easily, but this had me on edge. I still dont carry a pistol, I dont like the weight. I might get me a derringer one day....lol

M&P Shield 9mm fully loaded weighs in at 24 oz. Its worth it for peace of mind.

In New Mexico last fall in the absolute middle of nowhere on some overgrown trail there was a large tarp half buried about 5 ft long also with some trash that would be typical if someone were to just pull a bunch of stuff off of the back of a pickup and dump it. Along with a large bath towel wadded up at the front of it all. I was hunting with a local sheriff detective and he went full detective mode thinking it was a body dump looking around in the bushes. We’d been hiking all morning and it was almost noon I was crashing hard but that woke me up real quick I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Marked on gps, crime scene guys came back searched the scene, no body dump. Still super weird and a real trip. Some of the stories those sheriffs had from northern NM were INSANE. Not sure I’d go there without a local. Jk. Kind of.

Recently watched a movie available on Amazon Prime Video called Missing 411-The Hunted. It is about a series of unexplained missing hunter stories from different areas in the US. It was actually pretty good...and a little creepy. Based on a book from a series of missing person stories by investigative author Dave Paulides. He is a former police detective and has researched hundreds and hundreds of missing person cases in depth. I was googling each of the missing hunter stories as I was watching the movie and they are all bona fide unsolved cases. If you’re a twitchy person when it comes to stuff like this, I don’t recommend watching it until after your upcoming solo hunt...
I'm watching this now. I've read most of the missing 411 books. This doesn't do it justice. Understandably with time constraints. I highly recommend the books. But not right before a hunting trip.

Maybe this can give you peace of mind. I discovered that what I was seeing was a beacon from a nearby airport. The first time I saw it was about 30 miles away. It honestly did look pretty out of this world, but a lot of UFO sightings are simple things like that. We see it occasionally from our house depending on conditions.

I agree that most things have an explanation but what I saw was in the sky overhead, no way it was an airport beacon.

Speaking of weirdos, about two years ago I was heading to the blue ridge parkway to hike a local trail. It was late winter, and I should have checked, but the parkway was closed. So anyway, right before the turn off for the parkway was a pulloff, and I noticed a unmarked trailhead there. So I parked, loaded up my pack, and started up this trail, unknowing where it'd take me. There was snow on the trail, maybe 8". I was really enjoying this hike, until I reached the crest. At the top of the mountain the old forest I was walking through turned into a pine forest. But not a natural one. It looked like the area was logged out at one time, and pine was planted in rows. Immediately entering this pine forest my 6th Sense was telling me something was wrong. The area the pine forest was in was a bowl that was maybe 20 feet lower then the surrounding area around it. For the most part the area around the bowl was flat, and the area in the pine forest was flat, and with the trees being planted in a row visibility was pretty good. Half way through the pines, I couldn't ignore what I was feeling so I turned around, with the idea I was gonna exit the bowl, walk the edge of the bowl until I intersect with the trail again. And plus I figured I'd have better visibility being above the bowl looking down into the pines in case I was in a situation I had to perfect myself. So as I'm circling this bowl, I spot a guy, who looked homeless, very methodically moving through the pine in the direction I just left. He's not on the trail, just walking the woods. Stopping every 10ft or so, every time breaking behind a tree. Seemed odd to me, but didn't alarm me none at the time, so I reconnected back with the trail, and kept on. About a mile later, I start getting that uneasy feeling again. The area I was in at that moment was rocky with cliff edges on both sides. I took the path of several large rocks, maybe 10 in a row, to get me off trail, not leaving any foot prints. Sure nuff, about 15 minutes later, that same dude, very methodically emerges from behind a large rock. I was close enough to tell now that he was moving slow because he was tracking my footprints in the snow. There were other tracks from other hikers in the snow, and I assume he figured he was still on my trail, so he kept on down the trail. I followed his tracks all the way back to that pine forest, where I put it all together. I think he was living in that pine forest, and seen me walk in, and decided to follow me for whatever reason. I could see where he followed my tracks when I was exiting the pine forest, then followed my tracks all around the bowl, and all the way to that cliffed out area that I took shelter behind that rock when I seen him pass earlier , and was following the trail about 30ft within the wood line. Creeped me the hell out. I've never been back. Looking back I wish I'd of confronted the guy. I was carrying a 9mm, but I really didn't wanna put myself in a situation to use it if I didn't have to. Who knows how that situation would have turned out. I've learned to trust that sixth sense feeling a 100%.

I will add, there are a lot of better stories they could have chosen.
