Creedmoor for Brown Bear Hunt

I noticed a new power factor was introduced in this thread that we need to consider. The "Grit" factor. How is this one measured? What is the minimum "Grit" factor needed to kill coastal brown bears compared to elk? For that matter, let's use a "well-known" and "flawless" gold standard measurement. How much energy is needed to kill a coastal brown? 🍿
This or the original comment about elephants lacking grit reminded me of a debate we had in college - which would win in a cage match between a male grizzly (we can say coastal brown) vs a male silverback gorilla, armed with an aluminum baseball bat, and he knows how to use it? (I always went with the bear.) So, lose the cage - which would win in a match of a coastal brown vs. a bull (let's say African) elephant? I'm going with the bear, and probably put it as the endpoint in any "Grit" factor spectrum. (I am open to another "Grittiest" endpoint animal.)
