I read you on all of that except these don't look like the same design. Something I enjoy about the Sauer stock is how well it handles recoil, probably in part because of how the top of the heel comes up almost inline with the barrel -a feature absent from the H&S stock.

That negative comb can added with a cheek riser I suppose. Still not going to pass on the deal!
