CRAZY GOOD SAUER 100 SALE! - EUROOPTIC - AS LOW AS $499.99

Put one of the 5 Sauer 100 6.5 CMs I picked from EO up in a Woox Exactus. Took a bit of massaging on the trigger housing and some die grinder action on the inlet for it to drop in cleanly. Little olive drab Cerakote slapped on as well. Slings both the Hornady 140 BTHPS and ELD Ms really well.IMG_2421.jpeg

How do you like that stock? What’s your total weight?

Those of you with the 308, what ammo have you found that it likes the most?
I have 1 box of each on order:
Black Hills 155 TMK
Federal Power-Shok 150 (good ole blue box)
Federal Gold Medal Match 168 SMK

I'll post the results when they come in and i get a chance to shoot (it may be a few weeks)

I've also tested handloads with 168 TMKs, 168 ELDMs, 178 ELD-X, 168 & 175 Midsouth Classic Match's (SMK clones?) using Varget and H4895. Nothing disappointing, and nothing that really stands out yet, although the 178 ELDX grouped well in a velocity ladder as i approached pressure.

below is a 10 round group @100 yards of Hornady Black 155 AMAX , 1.5" target dot- sorta meh, ill shoot this again, some of that may be me, but i dont think all of it was

here's the 178 ELDX target - 1.5" dots again, same zero as the 155 AMAX target above, aiming at the top left dot.
Virgin Starline brass, CCI 200, Varget 41.0-42.5 gr. seated to book length, 2.800". The 4 digit numbers on the notepad to the right of charge weight are velocity.
The two shots that are low right are both from the lowest charge weight, or one each from the two lowest charges (i forget).
