@EuroOptic I’ve been eying your sale. I first had my eye on another sight for a 100 Fieldshoot in 223.

I may have moved on from that caliber, but saw you carried some Panteras. Is the description wrong or is the picture wrong? The picture seemed to show regular 100 Classic xt models vs Pantera.

I was wondering the same thing and called them. This is my first post I just joined!

The Panteras they have do not have the original Pantera stock, nor the later HS Precision stock. I think it's just the standard xt stock. I "need" a new rifle in 6.5 creed so wondering if it's worth the $200ish increase in cost over the classic XT? Any feedback would be super helpful!

I apologize I only just saw this!
The “Pantera XT” ‘s that we have, to my knowledge were never really a model Sauer produced.
They are essentially pantera barreled actions ( fluted, threaded, heavier contour barrel ) in a classic XT stock.

The reasoning behind this is simple, we did a buyout on all the 100’s left, so we did receive quite a few mutant rifles. Some Easter eggs have been found, guys have gotten some cool little happy accidents. The pantera XT was a common one, so it got its own name and we separated it from the rest.

As I stated before, if anybody orders a Sauer 100 and gets something they don’t want - please let me know and I will take care of it. The rifles for all intensive purposes are what’s shown in the photos, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some classic XT’s or even Pantera XT’s floating around in HS precision stocks.. kinda a fun little Easter egg, in my opinion - great deal on a great rifle, better deal if you get a lucky one.

I mean if you go to the warehouse and accidentally ship me a pantera I’ll order right now no hesitation lol

Edit:
For the price of the regular 100 xt for context

Put one together for a good friend. Bought a blued model and had it cut down to 20”, Cerakoted it, and added a pic rail. Opened up barrel channel a bit, lowered trigger pull weight, then slapped it back together. Ridiculously good value on the EuroOptic sale. Bought 4 more, all 6.5 Creeds.

I need to find someone to chop one down for me. Seems like a great shooting gun

@EuroOptic any idea when more magazines are on the way?
I get a couple in everyday - they are marked as discontinued so when they are out of stock they dont show on the website. which mags do you want? ill write it up if you send me your email address.

How’s the feel of the rifle compared to a tikka?

I can only compare the wooden stocked versions, but it feels great. The bolt is smooth, maybe not quite as smooth as the Tikka, but damned good. The safety and magazine are better.

How about the trigger? My biggest gripe is no aftermarket support, or I would probably order 2-3. I'm either going to have to cut the stock down to fit the wife/kids or find something light somewhere that fits.

The trigger is great. I wouldn’t consider changing it even if there was aftermarket options.
