CRAZY GOOD SAUER 100 SALE! - EUROOPTIC - AS LOW AS $499.99

Where is this “cheap” idea coming from? There isn’t a single European or Scandinavian rifle made that is “junk”. They do not have Ruger Americans or savages. The Sauer 100 is Sauer’s answer to the T3x- it is a very good rifle.

Form, would you happen to know anything about their magazines, longevity wise?

I had 4 or 5 mags for 6’ish years. Didn’t out thousands of rounds through them, but they worked excellently.

Thank you I appreciate it. And hearing that you like/have confidence in the rifle.

I'm pulling the trigger on a 6.5 CM or 6.5x55 (not at Euro Optic but I sure would if I could)

Although, already having a stainless T3x in 6.5 CM, not sure I should bother...even if more rifles is better than less haha
Same, wouldn’t add anything to what I have.

But I’ve loaded for two and just thought it was a neat cartridge that’s been around forever

Same, I really like the history of it, and while this is perhaps not important, that it operates at a lower pressure. I've found with the 6.5 Creedmoor chambered Tikkas, when I load the light end of Hornady data to practice 100 yard positional shooting, I don't get a full seal of the chamber and it farts some gas.

But yeah its just a cool cartridge.

Used the sauer 100 6.5 creedmoor on 2 whitetail last weekend(no pic of the doe). Dropped the buck at 75yd and the doe ran maybe 20-25yds. Used Winchester deer season xp 125gr. Did not get a pass through on the buck and looking at the velocity charts we may step up to a heavier weight like a 140gr XP or norma whitetail. Especially, when we add the suppressor to the gun. Overall, gun functioned flawlessly. Group was easily 1/2moa if not less with the 125gr XP.

What factory practice rounds are you guys using? I picked up 2 boxes of the 140gr Sellier and Belliot to try out at my local range. They kind of got crap ballistics but should be fine for the 50-200yards the local range has. Also priced at ~$1 a round it's the cheapest by $10 a box I can find near me.

Had a family member give me 3 bottles boxes of the S&B and one box had 10/20 not shoot

Well I pulled the trigger so to speak. Sauer 100 ceratech in 6.5 creedmoor. Also ordered a trijicon ascent with talley one piece base and scope rings. Hopefully soon I can add whether or not this combination works..

I fired 40 rounds of that today doing my suppressor tests. The ballistics weren’t terrible for factory ammo. 2585 MV out of my 20” Tikka with SD of 16.9. I was shooting quickly, but got a 15-shot group at 1.6”, a 15-shot group at 1.7”, and a 10-shot group at 1.5. I expect I can do better than that if I slow down. But in any case it is at least as good accuracy wise as the AAC 6.5 CM 140-grain FMJ, while being about 85 FPS faster from my rifle.

That's good to hear. As for crap ballistics I was just comparing the box numbers for the 300-400 yard drop against other options the store had. For the range near me they should be sufficient as long as they go bang.

Well dang, talk about worlds fastest shipping. I ordered my rifle and optics yesterday at 8:45 am. Delivered to my ffl at 10:37 am this morning.
