CRAZY GOOD SAUER 100 SALE! - EUROOPTIC - AS LOW AS $499.99

It’s been addressed repeatedly. People that have no idea what they are talking about should stop commenting and confusing.

Yes, the Sauer 100 can be rebarreled like any other rifle.
This includes most of the gun writers/reviewers/bloggers in America that have spread nothing but misinformation and falsehoods about this rifle. It is clear how much these supposed "authorities" on firearms parrot one another as well as the unfortunate folks that receive their content. It is no wonder the Sauer 100 wasn't a big seller in America. But once you take a good look at this rifle, you will see that the quality is high. It is an exceptional value at $400-600, and meets or exceeds the quality of rifles costing sometimes twice as much...just one man's opinion.

The same pleasant "mistake" arrived at my FFL 😉. Can't wait to get a scope on it. Q_Sertorius ' rifle is so beautiful, I'm thinking of rolling the dice on the wood Classic. 😁
lol maybe we should check the rest of the 1000+ rifles of this sku I have on hand 🤣

Jake...no complaints here. Thanks for the nice price on this rifle. I also was able to purchase a couple 10-round and a 5-round magazine at the time of purchase. Those 10-rounders are like hen's teeth.

I have more mags on the way, should be here soon
No complaints here, but if you figure out what I actually have please let me know.
Looks like this guy Sauer 100 Veil Cumbre. Happy accident

What's the concensus on the wood stocked models? Is it worth the price difference to step up? I've not seen these rifles in person so I'm not familiar with the quality of wood used in the stock.

Now I’m really considering a wood stock version - in 308 or 6.5. 6.5 seems the logical choice but something about a 308 and wood stock.

Thank you. For some reason the pics didn't show up for me in the original posts but do when I clicked your link. That's a dandy right there. You definitely won the wood lottery! If I knew the one I picked up would be hf as nice I wouldn't hesitate.

Finished the assembly of components and ready to take her to the range. All in, I’m well under $1000 for what I believe should be a solid long range shooter.

6.5 PRC
6 port brake
low Hawkins LR Hybrid 20 MOA rings w/ level
SRS arca/pic rail
Arken EPL-4 4-16 Mil

Chopped an inch off the butt, filled it with foam, and added a gel slip on pad(probably going to add a Backstop recoil pad, looks like the Tikka backstop model fits almost perfectly when you cut 3/4 off the Sauer stock)

Just a touch under 9# with a full mag.

Initial impressions are I’m hard pressed to find a significant flaw with the rifle thus far. The trigger is absolutely fantastic. The stock is well designed though the forend could be a little stiffer but I’ve seen a lot worse. Forend stiffness is about on par with the factory Tikka stock which is to say better than most plastic stocks. I did retap the scope mount threads to 8-40 for a bit more robustness. I’m very excited to take her out to a 1,000 and see what’s up. I’ve a feeling she’ll bring the heat against a lot of rigs that cost 2-3X. She should really complement well my sub 8# Tikka in .270.
