Yes, very nice. If anyone here thinks that Jake won’t take care of his customers, he needs to think again.

Which model is that? It’s the classic right?
Yes, it’s the Classic.
Is that stock a good representative of the stocks that come on these or is it something special?
It would seem that the move here is to buy the 6.5 PRC, shoot the barrel out, and spam the 10 yr warranty for free barrel replacements.$400 for a Creedmoor and $450 for the PRC, 6.5. !!!! Threaded barrels too. Like the Tikkas the 100’s value is where it should be which is in the action and barrel. The stock is a better design than most as well with a reverse comb and almost vertical grip. HELP!
Sauer 100 & 101/Mauser M18 .243 Win, .308 Win, and 6.5 Creedmoor 10rd Magazine S10510It would seem that the move here is to buy the 6.5 PRC, shoot the barrel out, and spam the 10 yr warranty for free barrel replacements.
Since the nice wood doesn't come threaded and threading would probably void that warranty, the plastic model is probably the answer. Perhaps @longrangelead will feel like making an RS lite in this inlet...
Q can you speak more to the extended magazine options for various cartridges?

@EuroOptic, thank you!
Pros:
Cons:
- This rifle is a beauty.
- The bolt is very smooth right out of the gate.
- The trigger feels great.
- I like the three-position safety.
- Magazine release button is nice.
- Balances right around the magazine release button.
- Barrel is nicely floated.
- The 5-round flush magazine is nice. The 10-round magazine is not too extended.
- Points well.
Facts: 7 pounds, 1.8 ounces
- Will not eject my two snap caps. I am not sure why. It ejects loaded ammunition and fired brass from my Tikka without any issues (I haven’t fired it yet). It is prematurely dropping them off the bolt face. This is probably due to the fact that they have been used a ton since I got them. At any rate, they work well with my Tikka, so I will get a new pair for this rifle.
- I want the same rifle in 9.3x62.

Edit - here is a picture with the 10-round magazine.![]()
Second edit - there is nothing "cheap" about this rifle. It is a bargain. The only other J.P. Sauer rifle I own is a drilling made in November 1939. The workmanship in this one isn't quite as nice as that handmade work of art, but careful design and craftsmanship are evident throughout. It's going to compete with my Tikkas for field and range time. It will probably result in me selling a Sako .243 and a CZ 527 in 6.5mm Grendel.

I plan on it!It would seem that the move here is to buy the 6.5 PRC, shoot the barrel out, and spam the 10 yr warranty for free barrel replacements.
