So I'm debating between bringing a Crazy Creek chair or Moonlite elite on a mule deer rifle hunt for glassing. The main pro to the moonlite to me is being off the ground. I think the pro for the Crazy creek is quick deployment and maybe not needing the flatest ground. What would you bring?

No experience with the nemo, but I love my crazy creek. Not only do I use it as a chair, I put it down as a tarp for standing barefoot or kneeling on wet ground. Also doubles as extra layer under sleeping pad. Pretty versatile.

Is the crazy creek waterproof?

I have the nemo and prefer it to the chair zero. It takes about 1 min to set up, can be annoying but not a deal breaker. I like being off the ground.

No experience with the Nemo but I switched to a crazy creek hex from a cut 4 sections of a z rest about a year ago. It’s been one of those things that now i can’t imagine not having it.

My vote would be the crazy creek. As mentioned above serves multiples purposed outside of just a seat. Love how quick it is to deploy, Additional option to keep out of the dirt and muck if you need to change / set something on it and isn't a crazy weight penalty for how comfortable it is.

I really like my Nemo. Yes it takes a moment to set up but it is very comfortable. The downside of the Nemo is that you do need a piece of flat ground to use it but it’s so nice to get your butt off the ground and lean back into that sucker. I see the appeal of the Crazy Creek being so quick to deploy but it’s really hard to imagine it providing comparable back support especially since your butt is on the ground.

Can you use the chair without the frame to behave like the Crazy Creek?
