Coyote or Wolf?

I was out pig hunting, on a trip a month or so ago, I pack in about 5 miles, I am a few yards to camp, turn to left to finish the last few yards, and about 100 yards infront of me, looking away from me is a canine, to big to be a coyote, but I thought it was slightly small for a wolf. I stood there looking at it for a good couple minutes. It finally turned and stared at me for another 2 to 3 minutes before turning and nonchalantly walking off. Lone coyotes here do not walk away nonchalantly.

About 5 days later a wolf was announced to be within 100 miles of that location (as the crow flies). Based on the fur and size of the animal, I'm positive I was not looking at a coyote.

CA?

Totally agree that the stills were coyotes and the video was wolf. Wolves tend to have more of a bi-colored face, coyotes not so much. Stouter snout on the animal in the video.
