Looking to upgrade my old turkey vest to something with some back support. What do you all use for seats/chairs Coyote hunting? Currently debating the sly dog/ beard buster ground and pound or the alpz enforcer

I have an eberlestock f1 mainframe. The load shelf works as a back rest when I lean back. On occasions I have put a stick or 2 under it to get the lean I want.

Been using this type of chair for many years. Haven’t broken one yet. Set my rifle on a snipe-pod and have made some really long shots off that seat. Strap it to my pack when walking.

I was hoping to find this. How tall are you?

6ft. It can be dependent on the incline. I have used a couple sticks under the frame where it contacts the ground to give me a better angle before. I have hung a pad from my frame and used it as a wearable support for coyotes and turkeys. You can use your knee as a rest if you hit it right. Its not always perfect. But neither is a chair and gunrest combo you carry out there.

I currently run a pack rabbit. Hang a pad from it to sit on. We have been getting a lot of close dogs in and want to start carrying a shotgun along with. Pack Rabbit isn’t stable enough to carry a gun on so was looking for a beefier option.

I am not familiar with the pack rabbit. But the Fi will definitely carry a rifle. I believe eberlestock has a scabbard you can mount on it. I dont have an issue usi g a sling with mine for the distances I walk.

We use a couple Pac seats from Waldrop. I got tired of the fold up style hunting/turkey style seats not holding up. I added a regular and turkey version Pac seats to our gear collection and have been pleased. They can stand on their own or be inclined against a tree trunk, fence post , etc. when one is easy to sit.

I have been using the sly dog for several years. It is double duty Coyote and turkey hunting chair. I put my caller in the back bag and rifle over my shoulder. I have also hung dead dogs in the seat and carried them on my back. Easier than dragging them.

That looks like a nifty steup
I have used a folding turkey chair for all my hunting
Makes my knee in the Perfict position for elbo rest. Am able to make some pretty long shots on prarie dogs and keeps you up off the cactus
Not near as convenient as that back pack setup
