Could it really be this EASY!!!! TC owners

I received this reply the other day and thought I might share it...

Ballistic Bridge Subbase & Flat Base Conical
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tried this idea of Ballistic Bridge Sub base with Flat Base Conical today. It worked great.

Without any wad, got groups over 3". With a 1/8" felt wad, things tightened to about 2". With the BBSB, produced two groups, each less than 1".

I never would have tried this without seeing this thread. It seems to be the solution for one TC QLA.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was in response to another thread that I had posted...

http://www.rokslide.com/forums/showthread.php?17620-In-the-Rock-Pit-Crushing-Basalt

I am hoping someone might follow up with another test from a TC with a QLA...

Mike I just ordered some. I will let you know when I start shooting the No Excuses and Bullshop 460 gr. from my Knight Mk-85 and LK-93. Hoping for more consistency in reliable full power loads.

I hope they work well for you... they are awesome for me from my knight Mountaineer and ULite.

I drew an Elk tag for Muzzleloader season in October. I will be getting pretty serious over the next few months. The Ballistic Bridge Subbase order arrived today as well. Sounds like I better go shooting this weekend.
This hunt is pretty high elevation for Oregon is there anything I need to consider for 8-9000 ft.? Temps can vary over a huge range throughout the day too.

I went to the range with my Knight 50 cal. Mk-85 and Lk-93 I had shot quite a bit to get the LK sighted in and Mashed my shoulder up pretty good from the recoil of 460gr bullshops over Ballistic Bridge Subbases and 80 gr. of triple seven. Between the 2 rifles it was probably 50 rounds. The last 2 targets of the day I moved from 50 yards to 100 yards. These are peep sights and the fiber optic front sight will cover the bullseye at 100 yards.
View attachment 16773 The MK-85 never ceases to amaze me. both groups had flyers on the 3rd shot but still "minute of Bull"
the LK-93View attachment 16774 performed flawlessly but the recoil actually Hurt hence the flyer, again on the 3rd shot. I do not think it is the rifle or the load.
I am not going to put them away until hunting season and I think the subbases helped a lot.
