Coues Whitetail Hunting Forum

None of my whitetail hunting has anything at all to do with any of that either, and Im almost as far from AZ as its possible to be and still call it US soil. Maybe Im just jealous I dont get a relevant whitetail forum too?

I'd love to see one. It's on the public land list and I'm gaining points for them in AZ, but don't have a clue where to start, other than where I saw some bucks half a decade ago while working down there lol

I agree it would be cool to have a form. Hunting them is generally a lot different from any other deer and there is always going to be knowledge to be gained.

Yeah but you can really only hunt Tule elk in one state and how many nonresidents can do that? You can hunt coues deer all over Arizona, part of New Mexico, and Mexico. Way more tags and varying habitat, hunting tactics, etc. They are a legitimate geographically isolated subspecies that may be whitetail deer but are very different. They are about as different as blacktail deer vs mule deer (and they have their own forums) and in some ways more different.
