Just a friendly heads up
Last year Coscto was selling down vests for like 15 dollars, I bought a black one and was very impressed. Was there recently and they have brought them back, and even with a camo print. For those of you on a budget (all of us it seems) and looking for a vest its worth the money in my eyes

How do the sizes run? My first lite puffy is a medium but I order a puffy from Amazon and I was a large.

I wear an xl and I find that my xl costco down vest seems cut a little tight in the armpit area. Love it, especially for less than $20, but I'd like to try a xxl simply to see if the armpit area is better or perhaps try a different xl to see if my vest may just be a manufacturing issue. Regardless, great value.

Bought one last year after hearing good things about them. Its a great piece to wear and comfortable. I'm one who sweats real easy so a vest is perfect over my long sleeve base layers. Just enough warmth for those chilly southern AZ mornings.

I almost grabbed one last time I was there, but they only had black & grey and I wasnt sure about the quality of a $12 vest. Sounds like they are pretty decent and they even have camo online, so I snagged one. Thanks for the heads up!

I bought the brownish/olive drab one a year ago. It was one of my favorite pieces of gear last fall/winter/spring here in BC and while in AZ. It is of high quality construction, held up great and was very warm for the weight. I normally wear an XL coat due to long arms, but the L vest fits trim and perfect. I like it a lot better than several other vests I own. And how can you go wrong for the price?

Is the shell water resistant? Is there a good amount of fill?
