Corner crossing…….again

It's already at the Court awaiting their decision to look at it or not. The stock growers are just adding their 2 cents via anamicus brief.

That's too bad.

Maybe it is my age, but I feel like the Stock Growers stance against corner crossing puts them clearly on the side of team corrupt Marshall/Big Rancher...
from the movie Open Range, movie clip "The People's Warrant".

In another time, the stock growers association would hire Tom Horn:

“There won’t be no more corner crossin’. Not on the Wood River Cattle Company, the Bar 3 Cattle Company, or the Hayley Cattle Company. Consider that my last word on the matter.”

Wonderful news. It's time this issue was settled. I can only wonder at what this guy was thinking. Imagine spending that much time and money to not only lose but to ruin every other private landowners' argument against corner crossing. He singlehandedly opened millions of acres of land for hunters to corner cross at will.

Excellent news! Hopefully the other federal circuits take this as the final word; you'd have to be a really dumb ass prosecuting attorney to take this on in another district :D

Another district - as in surrounding states non in the same circuit?

..specifically: "the six states of Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, plus those portions of the Yellowstone National Park extending into Montana and Idaho."

Agree but don't underestimate the influence of the prosecutor's voting constituents and financial backers. I'm not convinced the original prosecutor in Carbon county wanted to charge the hunters but she folded to the pressure.

Correct me if I’m wrong but scotus most likely won’t rule on this unless another circuit court rules opposite the 10th?
